How a Project Progresses
Stage 1 — Preparation
Protection of existing finishes, agreed access routes and setting out before structural work begins.
Stage 2 — Structure
Structural openings, supports and alterations co-ordinated with your structural engineer's design.
Stage 3 — Envelope
Walls, roof coverings, openings, weathertightness and drainage connections completed.
Stage 4 — Finishing
Internal finishes completed, snagging closed out, the site cleared and the work handed over.
Entry Pricing
What a Site Survey Costs
Entry-level pricing for the stages that come before construction. Full construction works are quoted per project after the site survey.
Site Survey & Feasibility Visit — £120
On-site assessment, measurements, access and structural feasibility notes, provided with a written summary before any scope is agreed.
Design & Specification Consultation — from £180
Coordination of drawings and specification, a buildability review and drafting of the staged construction programme.
Pre-Start Structural Review — £150
Review of the structural engineer's design against the existing structure, with buildability and sequencing notes before work starts.

Common Questions
Q. Do you hold construction qualifications or trade certifications?
We do not publish certification claims on this website. Where a project needs regulated work — gas, electrical or structural sign-off — we co-ordinate with appropriately qualified specialists and include the resulting documentation in the project record.
Q. How is a price put together?
We price after a site survey. The survey findings, the agreed scope of works and any structural design are priced together, and you receive the figure in writing before work starts.
Q. How long will the work take?
We provide a staged programme rather than a single completion date, because progress depends on the property, the structural design and weather.
Q. Can we stay in the house while the work is carried out?
In many cases yes. Access routes, dust protection, working hours and which parts of the house are affected are agreed with you before work starts.
