These terms apply to the use of this website and to quotations and works provided by J S Builders Construction Limited. By accessing or using our site, you agree to them.

Scope of Services

J S Builders Construction Limited provides residential building works. The scope for each project is defined in a written scope of works agreed before work begins.

Not Structural Engineering Advice

Nothing on this website constitutes structural engineering advice. Structural alterations require assessment and design by a suitably qualified structural engineer, and work is carried out to that design.

Quotations and Variations

Prices are given after a site survey and are valid for the period stated in the quotation. Changes to the agreed scope are discussed and agreed in writing before additional work begins.

Programme and Timescales

Programmes are indicative and depend on the property, the structural design, inspection stages, weather and material availability. No fixed completion date is given on this website.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel a project by telling us in writing. If you cancel before work starts, any fee paid for preliminary work already carried out is not refunded, and anything not yet carried out is refunded within 14 days. If you cancel after work has started, you pay for the work completed and for materials already ordered. Deposits paid for materials that cannot be returned are not refundable. Where a consumer has a statutory right to cancel a contract agreed at a distance within 14 days, that right is unaffected by this section.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in relation to any project is limited to the terms of the written agreement for that project.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes your acceptance of any changes.
